430 and 8c have almost the same price.In italy they both cost about 150.000e plus taxes.Factory price of 8c without taxes is higher than F430's but alfa dealers have less profit compared to that of ferrari dealers.

8c competizione is better than 430 in every sector.
-8c is like having a classic Gt Ferrari but with the setup of a 360 Challenge Stradale and better flexibility thanks to it's shorter wheelbase compared to 599 and the use of V8 engine.
-It has better weight power compared to all v12 Ferrari's Gt (575m,superamerica,612 etc.) except 599 but it has better dynamic qualities.
-It is fitted with the new generation of Alfa/Maserati/Ferrari V8 engine....the same engine will use F430's successor.Peak of the torque is provided in 7000-8000rpm and is better than F430's (peak over 8000rpm and as a result it looses the torque in low rpm) and also the engine weights 50kg less.
-8c competizione has a car body made from carbon fiber compared to the aluminium of F430.
-Wishbones of 8c's suspension are based in a new architecture that also F430's successor will follow that new technic.

-430 looks too common when compared with 8c...each year only 500 units of 8c will be build compared to the 5000 units of 430.430 is just three numbers....8c is a legend in automotive history as the first ever made supercar.....in that car all production ferrari's based its philosophy and nowdays 12lt Ferrari's Gt like 612 or 599.Also according to the most well known designers 8c is the most beautiful car over the last 40 years and propably the sexiest car ever produced and ofcource more rare than 430 which means better offer/demand as a future investment.All of current alfa 8c2900 owners have already placed names in the order book.
-Lets wait Jeremy Clarkson to drive 8c and then see if he will prefer it to 430.In order to describe the driving behaviour of 8c i would say that it is like driving a 2 seater GT Ferrari (engine in front and gearbox in the rear axle) but with a 8lt engine and with a challenge stradale setup.In general it reminds a more extreme and lighter 599 with v8 engine.Also the engine has more torque in low rpm's and the engine note is more tough and ripening.
-8c stands easily against 430....like 599 with Murcielago LP640..a classic Gt against a sports car....and like i prefer 599 against LP640 i will also prefer 8c against 430.
