Hello, my name is Rafa and I live in Spain. As other spaniards I am always reading the pages of this forum, as it has a lot of information.
Right now I have a problem with my "asetto". It is koni and as I love them, there is an awful noise that I think can be solved with your help.
In every "irregular ground", in the back it appears a "metalic" noise, and I don not know what is producing it.
Has anyone of you the same problem? Or has anyone solved it?

Gracie!!!

Thank you for responding so quickly! I am sure it is the asetto because the le barre stabilizzatrici has been changed two weeks ago, due to another kind of noise. And the brake system...I am almost 100% asure that is not the problem.
Koni, at least here, is cheaper than other "asettos" systems, because is the half of a convencional one, that is the reason I think the noise is been produced, but I am not sure, and in that case I have no idea of who to solve it :mecry) !
In fact, if in this forum there is just one person that has koni and don't have this problem or have solutioned it, I would be satisfied.

Sorry for writing in English but I think you will understand me better that in Spanish. No problem if you write in Italian, I would translate the words!

Gracie a tutti!

ok, tech stuff in english ...

maybe the problem is related to the springs rather than the koni dampers ... I am not an expert anyway.... you should go to a good garage and have the car inspected by someone competent ... lift the car up and have a look at the whole suspension system first. Then take the car out on the road with the technician so that he can hear the noise too and he will find out what's wrong with the rear suspension ...

hasta luego

Gracias Alex, veo que dominas varios idiomas! I am from Barcelona.

By now, the only thing I have for clear is that the noise is not being produced by the brake system, nor de "molle". I know it is something about the dumpers because the person in the garage explained me like this. He did not know anything else and told me that he couldn't take the noise out of my car!

The following part is being written in spanish because maybe in other language could not be understood as well, sorry!

I just want to know if anyone has or has had the same problem with the "asetto". Thank you very much!

Ciao. :p

I am going to have koni dampers + h&r springs fitted next week, and I'll be there watching the technician at work and maybe I'll explain him your problem ... maybe I'll be able to help. Keep in touch next week ....

saludos
