Touchpad buttons with touch panel control
With its touch-panel capabilities, Clarion’s in-dash 7-inch monitor allows for simple, yet accurate control of all functions, including all visual and sound related entertainment sources. Clarion also outfits its monitors with an on-screen numeric keypad so users can easily select specific tracks from a CD or DVD. The touch-panel surface is also treated to resist dust and grime so you’ll always be looking at a clear, clean image.
5.1-channel Dolby Digital/dts surround
When connected with the CeNET compatible DVH943, VRX848RVD supports Dolby Digital and dts to provide three channels of front sound (left, right, centre), together with two rear surround sound audio channels (left, right) and a dedicated low-frequency channel for a subwoofer. This combination can reproduce the dynamic sound field of a movie theatre in a relatively small space. So take the show on the road – let Clarion bring full 5.1-channel performance into your car.
Navigation control supported
When you connect the DVD Navigation System (NAX943DV), the VRX848RVD can be used as both a navigation monitor and a control unit. Simply touch the screen with a finger and you can perform all kinds of actions, such as displaying a map in a large, easy-to-view size on the wide screen, searching for routes, and selecting menu items. Thus a car navigation system has been integrated without sacrificing space. Furthermore, in order to support users in a wide area of Europe, the DVD-ROM is packed with maps covering more than 20 European countries: England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, Luxembourg, Sweden, the Vatican, Andorra, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Norway, Finland, and Ireland.
• The LCD panel uses the latest high-tech components and boasts an effective pixel rate of 99.99%. However, be aware that 0.01% or less of the pixels may be defective.
